It is your responsibility to fully understand the terms and conditions of the events and workshops. Please read carefully what is and is not included in your event package and view all-encompassing details on the website. 

Should you have questions regarding the terms and conditions, we are available for consultation and would be happy to clarify any areas in advance of signing a contract with us. 

All prices are per person and are set in advance of the start date. Prices include costs only; they do not include train, bus or travel costs to and from The Beeches, Bamford, Peak District.

Payments are paid in full when you purchase on our event webpage.

A full refund can be provided if you can transfer your place to another person. Email the hosts if you have any questions [email protected]

Reservations and deposits can be transferred from one attendee to another. If you wish to replace your spot with another person, please email [email protected].

The Hosts reserve the right to make any changes deemed necessary, including but not limited to advertised activities and excursions, arranged transportation, and advertised meals. In the rare case of a cancellation, The Hosts will offer a full refund of your payment. The Hosts are not responsible for any expenses or damages, transport costs, gear purchases, taxes, etc. 

7. ASSUMPTION OF RISK

I acknowledge that I have voluntarily enrolled to participate in this event. In consideration of The Hosts allowing me to participate, I agree to this release of claims, waiver of liability, and assumption of risks. On behalf of myself, my heirs, executors, successors, administrators, and any other person who may have an interest at common law or by operation of statute, I hereby waive any and all claims I or such parties may have now or in the future. I release from liability The Hosts and any teachers, employees, guides, agents, or representatives (“the releasees”) for any personal injury, death, property damage, or loss of any nature suffered by me as a result of participation in any activity on the event/workshops. I release from liability The Hosts for any cause whatsoever, including those arising out of or in any way connected to or occasioned by the negligence of the releases.

8. EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and agree that my participation in the foraging and plant remedies activities during the workshop is entirely voluntary and carries inherent risks. I understand that the preparation and use of plants, involve the use of natural substances that may cause allergic reactions, adverse effects or other health issues. I hereby release and discharge the event organisers, instructors, and any affiliated parties from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from my participation in these activities, including any physical or psychological injury, illness, or damage to myself or my property. I accept full responsibility for any consequences resulting from my use of plant medicine during this event. 

Furthermore, I acknowledge that the plants and herbal remedies discussed during this workshops are presented for educational purposes only. It is my responsibility to conduct thorough research and consult with a healthcare professional before incorporating any herbs or plants into my diet and health regimen. I understand that the event organisers and instructors are not liable for any adverse effects or health issues that may arise from the use of these plants. I accept full responsibility for any decisions I make regarding the use of plant medicine after the event. 

9. EXPRESS ASSUMPTION OF RISK

By signing this waiver, I acknowledge and understand that participating in outdoor activities during this event may expose me to wild animals, harmful plants, and insects. I recognise that encounters with wildlife, poisonous or harmful plants, and insect bites or stings can result in injury, illness, or other health complications. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with such encounters and agree to release and hold harmless the event organisers, instructors, and affiliated parties from any and all liability, claims, or demands arising from injuries or damages related to wildlife, plants, and insects. I accept full responsibility for my safety and well-being while engaging in workshop activities. 

11. PERMISSION FOR CAPTURE AND USE

Media is defined as photography, video, written or verbal testimonials, or any other form of capturing likeness. For valuable consideration received, I grant to The Host the absolute and irrevocable right and unrestricted permission concerning any captured media that he/she has taken or may take of me or in which I may be included with others. This includes the right to use, reuse, publish, and republish in whole or in part, individually or in connection with other materials, in any and all publishing platforms, including the Internet, and for any purpose whatsoever, including but not limited to illustration, promotion, art, editorial, advertising, and trade.

12. RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY

I hereby agree that I, my assignees, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives will not make a claim against, sue, or attach the property of The Hosts, their affiliates, teachers, employees, agents, or volunteers or any of their affiliated organisations for injury or damage resulting from acts, howsoever caused, by any employee, agent, or contractor as a result of my participation in The Hosts’ events. I hereby release The Host and any of their agents or affiliated organisations from all actions, claims, or demands that I, my assigns, heirs, distributees, guardians, and legal representatives now have or may hereafter have for injury, damage, or death resulting from my participation in the events and workshops.
